Hotels

Below are the hotels we suggest booking in the area. We plan to have one shuttle stop on the West Shore (near Sunnyside & Cottage Inn) and one in Tahoe City (near Basecamp & Pepper Tree). The venue itself does not have parking or a drop-off area, so you’ll need to find your way to one of the shuttle stops if you book different accommodation.

Sunnyside Lodge

Sunnyside is a classic lakefront lodge located on the West Shore, with panoramic views of the lake and mountains, a great restaurant with outdoor seating, and easy access to the water.

Pepper Tree Inn

Pepper Tree was built in Tahoe City in anticipation of the 1960 winter Olympics, and is a great jumping off point for exploring the area.

House rentals

We love staying in Airbnbs when we’re in Tahoe, so if that’s more your thing, take a look here! Our one suggestion would be to stay within walking distance of the hotels above for easy access to a shuttle. Otherwise, plan on driving/Lyfting/Ubering to a shuttle stop.
